Ioanna & Bruno 2026

 

It started, like many modern stories do, when we least expected it.

A simple conversation sparked a connection that quickly grew into effortless, easy rapport. Our first meeting was immediate and uncomplicated—we were simply two people who could be themselves. ​Weekends soon became a shared rhythm, navigating the distance between The Hague and Rotterdam, filled with unhurried moments, long drives, and walks with Kiara—Ioanna’s much-loved dog (who definitely runs the household). We were forming a small, unexpected unit. ​Even Kiara, signaled her approval early on. Usually guarded, she greeted Bruno with an immediate, enthusiastic welcome. Ioanna figured, "If the dog's on board, this must be real."

When Ioanna spent two months in Greece early on, Bruno bypassed the long-distance test by simply joining her in Thessaloniki. He met her family and friends, experiencing the landscapes that shaped her. He realized then that marrying her was the only way forward.

​Since then, our life has been a blend of shared travels, Sunday coffees, inside jokes, and the everyday moments that make a home. We have woven two cultures, two families, and one beautiful life together, anchored in Rotterdam, and everywhere our journeys take us.

On August 30, 2026, we will celebrate the start of our marriage in the place where Ioanna grew up, and where Bruno felt immediately welcomed. We look forward to sharing this day with all of you—our loved ones from around the world.
